FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • OUR STANDARDS
    Kingston Kabinets aims to provide the highest standards of service and workmanship and are focused on the concerns of you, our client. All our projects are quality inspected during manufacturing, assembly and installation. If for any reason, you feel you have not received the level expected or have an issue to raise, please in the first instance, contact Drigita or Derek to discuss how the problem may be resolved.
  • QUOTES
    All quotes supplied remain the property of Kingston Kabinets. These are not to be distributed for any purpose other than the purpose intended. Legal action may be taken if a quote is distributed and used for any purpose than your intended viewing.
  • TERMS OF PAYMENT
    Our payment terms for cabinetry is as follows: 10% - Acceptabce of Quote 30% - Booking 40% - Prior to Installation 20% - On Completion Any changes to a design or quote may be subject to a price change at the cost of the client. These costs are based on the quantity and the complexity of the changes required. Any additional fees and charges will be agreed in writing. Our payment terms for flooring is as follows: Supply Only 50% - Acceptance of Quote 50% - Supply Supply & Install 50% - Acceptance of Quote 50% - On Completion All amounts will be invoiced, the final balance on completion is due seven (7) days from the date of invoice. For the Booking & Installation stage to commence, payment of the required amount must be received in full.
  • WHEN DO I GET A 3D DESIGN OF OUR CABINETRY
    Full plans and 3D computer imaging will be available within 4 weeks after the acceptance of a quotation and full payment of the first instalment. Should 3D designs be required prior to quote acceptance there is a $300 drafting fee per drawing (item). If the quote is accepted, the drafting fee will be deducted off the final amount.
  • WHAT ARE MY RESPONSIBILITIES?
    TRADESPEOPLE All appliances and hardware are supplied only (we fit them in place, we do not fix). A qualified plumber will be required for all plumbing requirements such as disconnecting, connecting and installing sinks, tubs, tapware and gas. A qualified electrician will be required for all electrical requirements such as disconnect, connecting, installing power points and appliances. We can assist you in arranging the required tradespeople, all additional fees will be agreed in writing and will either be invoiced by us or direct by the tradespeople. Alternatively, if you already have specified tradespeople, we will work directly with them. SITE ACCESS Customers are required to arrange for all reasonable access to the require site for measuring, inspection and installation and the area to be clear of clutter. REMOVAL OF EXISTING CABINETRY (IF REQUIRED) Removal of existing cabinetry (if required) can be completed by Kingston Kabinets for an additional fee, please advise our team during the initial consultation if this is required.
